Sunday School

Our mission is to teach the kids about the Old and New Testament so they can share God's love with others.

The first semester's focus is on the Old Testament and the second semester is on the New Testament. There is a constant rotation of teachers so that kids can get to know the adults in the church.  The schedule consists of preschool-6th grade singing together, a lesson and then an activity/craft.

Cadets
“Cadets” is an all-boys club that is offered in churches throughout the United States and Canada (Over 600 active clubs!). Their goal is to help boys to grow spiritually in all areas of life (mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually) by providing Christian men with a uniquely designed and structured program so that they can mentor boys effectively.  This organization has been around since 1952 and is sometimes referred to as “Young Calvinist Cadet Corps” in honor of the Protestant reformer, John Calvin, whose life was devoted to the religious education of God’s children. God has been using this group to make an impact on many men and boys throughout the years.

This is a mentorship program where men of the church come alongside the young boys to encourage them to experience the presence of the Lord in His glorious creation. Learning the skills of an outdoorsman helps to build a boy’s character, and developing a boy’s understanding of his place in God’s kingdom helps him to be a faithful steward of the earth.  The Cadet Corps is the ministry of Godly men who are dedicated to bringing boys into a living relationship with their Lord and Savior. While understanding their imperfection, these men hold on to the promise that the Lord will bless their prayers, their example, and their instruction if they rely on God’s strength. These men take time out of their schedules to make these boys feel important and valued. They encourage them to be active and unique and show them, by example, how to honor and worship the Lord in all areas of life.

Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior (GEMS)
GEMS is an all-girls’ club organization that is offered in churches throughout the United States and Canada (Over 900 active clubs!). Their mission is “to help bring girls into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ.” This organization has been around since 1958, formerly known as Calvinettes. God has been using this group to make an impact on many women and girls throughout those years, specifically teaching them what it means to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly” with Him.
This is a mentorship program where women of the church come alongside the young girls to inspire, train, and equip them to live a God-honoring life. These women take time out of their schedules to make these girls feel important and loved. They encourage them to be active and unique and show them, by example, how to honor and worship the Lord in all areas of life.

The High School youth group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30. Together we will be learning about who Jesus is, what it means to live for Him, and why He is worth living for.

We will be spending our time doing a number of different things; ranging from Bible study to field trips in order to learn and experience what it means to be one of His disciples.
